My spouse and I have been married for almost a half-century. Things that bothered us a lot when we were 30 or 40, don't phase us any more. It's just isn't important. Very sad about Danny & Rhea.

Yours is the only comment so far to have an iota of compassion and knowledge about relationships. Congratulations on your successful one! My spouse and I have been together for 21 years and you're so right--things that may bother us only do so with the perspective of "they're just not that important." Luckily, we've been honest with each other from the start so the only things that may bother us are the day-to-day peccadilloes of being human.

Yea I gotta agree w/Mark (below). I also can say I think I used to cross paths w/Danny around '83 in Santa Monica when he'd walk his dogs at night. I'd be walking back from the grocery a few blocks.
Never figured this but can only deduce the stresses of his working that much figure again into it. Maybe longer days vs. producing. No need to judge anybody here, especially not having an iota of knowledge about it. But like the unwashed masses, many have to be derogatory. Sad. Good luck to both.

She probably left him because he's a drunk.

When he goes on a daytime talk show drunk, I think we can all safely assume he has a problem.
