Houston's body arrived at the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office in the Boyle Heights area of LA 11 hours after she was declared dead at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, reports CBS2 in Los Angeles.

The pop superstar was pronounced dead 3:55 p.m. Saturday in her fourth-floor room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Kirk Hawkins, reporting for CBS2 and KCAL9, said paramedics performed CPR for 20 minutes prior to that after they were called by a member of Houston's entourage.

Houston was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her fourth floor hotel room.

Houston's family says they talked to her earlier Saturday and didn't believe anything was unusual.

But during a rehearsal last week, some witnesses said she was sweating profusely while others said she was doing handstands by the pool at the hotel.

Coroner's officials say they can't talk discuss what they saw in her room.

"It didn't appear that there was foul play and that's all I can say about it," said Los Angeles County Asst. Chief Coroner Ed Winter.

Toxicology tests will determine if legal or even illegal drugs played a role in her death. The results of those tests could take several weeks.

However, an autopsy is expected begin at some point Sunday.

She had some great songs, she HAD a great career at one point too but I'm sick of hearing about these celebrities who throw their lives away like she has. For all of you who blame Bobby Brown, she made her own choices. There are MANY addicts who are introduced by drugs by someone else...who do what it takes to get off of them. She had the resources, she had people trying to help her...SHE CHOSE not to get off of them. I'm so sick of hearing people touting this wonderful talent...she WAS a wonderful talent YEARS ago, now she's a wasted life.

I hate to say this but, compared to all of the possibilities, I hope that she just simply drowned.

So sad. She wasted and abused her life with her addictions. She didn't want to get better, despite all those that loved her and who tried to help her.
