"The Elder Scrolls Online" beta opens, trailer electrifies
Bethesda Softworks is now taking applications for the beta release of "The Elder Scrolls Online" -- a massively mulitiplayer role-playing game (MMORPG) that will incorporate all of the classic elements of the blockbuster franchise.
"The Elder Scrolls" franchise includes blockbuster games like "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" and "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim." This game will mark the first time "The Elder Scrolls" will be ported to a massive online world. MMORPGs are typically role-playing games that takes place online in a virtual world that is populated by multiple players.
Bethesda also released the trailer for "The Elder Scrolls Online," which is an electrifying, action-packed battle in the world of Tamriel -- the main setting of the game. Fans can expect to see stunning vistas, adrenalin-filled combat and orcs, of course.

- Applied for my beta invite and hoping to get one. Warning! If you see sites that offer beta keys for this they are illegally phishing for your personal information. Bethesda has made it clear that they do not give beta keys out other than in direct email to those who have applied for them.

- This is awesome! I was just surfing the web and I seen the beta announcement on <a href="http://tesozone.com">TESO Zone</a>. I was so shocked because I didn't expect them to release it any time soon! And needless to say that cinematic trailer is amazing! Action packed, beautiful looking and kept my attention until the end, just like the game will do! Cheers!
