Palestinians to ask U.N. Security Council to stop Israel settlement expansion plans

RAMALLAH, West Bank A West Bank official says the Palestinians will ask the U.N. Security Council to halt two massive Israeli settlement projects that he warns will destroy last hopes for a Mideast peace deal.

For now, Israel is advancing both projects, E-1 and Givat Hamatos, with some 7,500 apartments. The construction would cut off east Jerusalem, the intended Palestinian capital, from the West Bank.

Israel revived plans for E-1 last week, after a majority of U.N. member nations voted to upgrade Palestine's official status to that of "observer state". CBS Radio News correspondent Robert Berger says Israeli leaders insist the construction plans are an appropriate response to last week's UN vote.

Palestinian official Saeb Erekat said Wednesday the Palestinians are asking the Security Council to block construction because otherwise "the idea of peace ... will disappear."

He says the U.S. must halt construction itself if it wants to avoid casting a veto at the council, as in 2011.

Several European nations with longstanding ties to Israel have blasted the proposed development, and Berger says EU envoy Andrew Standley reiterated those concerns, saying the settlements harm efforts to revive peace talks.

"That's what we're trying to analyze and trying to avoid at the moment," said Standley.

(Just FYI, people. It takes two gravitational fields to generate the force of gravity. If you can suppress (or nullify) one of those gravitational fields, then you can potentially suppress (or generate null) gravity. (For much of my life I knew that at least one of the ETs had survived in the UFO which crashed relatively intact (the other UFO which they were paired with was blown to 'smithereens' by this surviving ET) because it was somehow protected in the center of the ship. I used to try to imagine just what kind of internal structure this ET had hidden itself in, which apparently resided in the center of that UFO ship. It wasn't until I finally watched the video which Jim Ragsdale had made in the late 1990s near the end of his life, that I finally realized this internal structure was actually a 'wrap around' console in the center of that UFO ship. (Yes, there is some limited good built into all three of these Abrahamic religions, otherwise they would never grow and spread in a (viral) cultural way around our world, in preparation for the final programmed "End Time" cataclysm known as the Christian Apocalypse or World War III. I know all of this because I personally lived at Wright Patterson Air Force base from 1951 to 1953, while my grandfather (Colonel Charles Faulkner Carter) was second in command there, and he was personally involved in the background investigation into the Roswell Incident of 1947. These same ETs overflew Washington DC for several weeks in 1952, in order to demand the return of the Roswell crash remains. They chose the middle of the Korean War as the most opportune time to do this, since we had our hands full with the Soviets, Red Chinese and North Koreans. The Roswell Incident happened because these ETs were reconning our post WWII nuclear facilities in the western and southwestern U.S., as part of a baseline study into our emerging WMD capability, since WMDs have a very key role to play in the ultimate success of the PWMD. They were particularly interested in the Roswell area because the 509th bomber group as based at Roswell Army Air Field (RAAF), and they were the only bomber group in the entire world authorized at the time to carry nuclear weapons. My grandfather was a highly decorated pilot who was born in 1898, and first started flying Jenny biplanes for the U.S. Army Air Service in 1918 - 1919, which later became the U.S. Army Air Corps and finally the U.S. Air Force (his cousin was Admiral Richard E. Byrd). He ultimately flew many bomber missions in Europe, Africa and the Pacific, eventually commanding a U.S. airbase in the Philippines near the end of WWII. He faithfully followed his own line of investigation into the Roswell Incident, one which led him into a veritable minefield of religious issues, any one of which could have blown up in his face and potentially ended his distinguished military career. Eventually he could no longer share his findings with his military peers (especially this close to the end of WWII), because they were so fraught with religious overtones, so he was forced to turn to his wife (Dorothy) as his main confidant in the Roswell investigation, and I was personally in my grandmother's care 24/7 at the time because I had been born with a congenital birth defect which needed surgical repair. The U.N. has merely compounded its original mistake when they left the Palestinians out in the cold from the standpoint of an autonomous national homeland in the Middle East. By finally granting the Palestinians official international recognition as a national state without providing them with the necessary land with which to make all of this happen is much like pouring gasoline on this whole situation on a local level and expecting the fires to go out. But at the same time the U.N. has elevated this tragic local conflict to the status of a major international problem, and in doing so the U.N. has effectively lit the fuse on World War III. In light of the fact that they have already had over 60 years to finally figure out the proper solution to this problem which THE U.N.
