CAIRO The leader of Al Qaeda has urged Muslims to wage holy war against the United States and Israel over a film that insulted Islam's Prophet Muhammad.

Ayman al-Zawahri praised as "honest and zealous" demonstrators who breached the U.S Embassy in Cairo and attackers who stormed the U.S. "embassy" in Benghazi in violence linked to the film.

The American ambassador and three others died in the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in the Libyan city.

The amateur film "Innocence of Muslims" was made by an Egyptian-born American citizen.

In an audio message released by al Qaeda's media arm As-Sahab and posted on militant websites early Saturday, al-Zawahri claimed Washington allowed the film's production under the pretext of freedom of expression, "but this freedom did not prevent them from torturing Muslim prisoners."

Since Al Qaeda members are multinational, and have no loyalty or dignity to their native country, they attack other nations out of ignorance and hate without analyzing data first. The producers of the film lived in California at the time of production and this nutcase condemns all of America for the actions of a very small production company.

Sure is a lot of hate being spewed here. Islam follow their great prophet Mohammad and his book the Koran. Romney follows his great prophet Joesph Smith and his book of Mormon. How is one different from the other? They both accept the teaching of Jesus just not his deity. So Islam is bad and Mormonism is good? I just can't comprehend the logic in this.

Jack 25, you ever hear of the Utah war? Maybe you should do a little research before throwing the BS flag.

Even Israel has Sharia courts.

And the American Taliban led by Santorum, Palin, Cain, Perry, etc, is much more of a threat to our liberties and freedoms.

It's correct to assume that even God is fed up with religion.

Religion ASSURES us of greater continuing conflict, and greater destruction and death.

And by the way, it's more likely that God is of female gender instead of male.

Religion is a flawed system of thinking - certainly not reasoning - perverting virtually everything.

Jack -

What religion are you? And don't give me any "personal relationship with Jesus" BS.

If you use the Bible and pray to the "Christian God", then you ARE religious. I'm just curious as to which denomination you are.

That's the tragic reality of religion on the surface it seems to be a platform for peace and love but inevitably it is used as an excuse for murder and hate. It's axiomatic.

Muslims follow the *same* God the Christians do (and the Jews): The "One True God of Abraham".

Bush invoked God solely for their own political purposes

GWB told President Chirac that Iraq should be invaded because the "time of Gog and Magog is here".

That refers to the Book of Revelation, and the Apocalypse. The man is seriously insane.

It's not just the Muslims who are extremists. We have the American Taliban here, and it's alive and well, as shown by the support for Santorum, Ryan's social views, the "legitimate rape" guy, etc.
