Shooting at Fla. VFW post, 2 dead
WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. Police say two people are dead and another is injured after a shooting at a central Florida Veterans of Foreign Wars post.
Winter Springs Police said a charity motorcycle ride was supposed to depart from the post when the shooting broke out Sunday morning while the riders were eating breakfast.
The Orlando Sentinel reports an unknown number of armed men came in and began firing. It's unclear if any of the attendees shot back.
Winter Springs Police spokesman Lt. Doug Steeley said the agency has detained several people and confiscated a number of weapons.
VFW posts around the country support veterans and their families.

Those vets who fought and bled for the right to keep and bear arms were killed and wounded by those who benefited from their sacrifice.
If anyone wonders why I think only those who have done military or public service should be allowed to vote, this is only one of those reasons.
Have you even read the Constitution? We're free to work where we want, to join (or not join) the military. Serving in uniform may be noble, but it's not the bedrock on which our great country was formed. Freedom to do as we choose is. And I'll vote for that any day!
And no, it is not paranoia. I've had an issue where my cholesterol medication was causing me to my temper for the smallest of things (and I'm normally a very very mild mannered person).
Fine by me... been there, done that...
I was with you until you chose to put in the partisan manure, freshly yanked out of the cow...
What the hell does Obama have to do with this?
Do you not remember the number of times Bush cut the funding and benefits for vets? (Look it up, it's true...)

Unlike you, I'm not lazy and started doing your work for you.
Yet only Obama is bad to vets in your myopic little eyes?
RETIREDARMY_NURSE's response to you hit the nail on the head.
Only going to get worse...
I know that line is starting to get old, but what's more worthy of complaining about:
My saying "only going to get worse" all the time, or these people who love playing with their little popguns?
