(CBS/AP) CENTENNIAL, Colo. - The suspect in the Colorado shooting rampage tried unsuccessfully to call his university psychiatrist 9 minutes before he opened fire during a Batman movie premiere, defense attorneys revealed in court Thursday.

James Holmes placed the call to an after-hours number at a hospital at the University of Colorado, Anschutz campus, where psychiatrist Lynne Fenton could be reached, defense attorney Tamara Brady said.

It wasn't clear why he called Fenton, and she wasn't immediately available to talk to him. Holmes, 24, is accused of opening fire during a midnight showing of "The Dark Knight Rises," killing 12 people and injuring 58 others.

The detail about the call came out during a hearing about his relationship with Fenton, to whom he mailed a package containing a notebook that reportedly contained violent descriptions of an attack.

Prosecutors asked the judge to let them review the notebook as part of their investigation, while defense attorneys argued it was inadmissible because it was protected by doctor-patient privacy laws.

Judge William B. Sylvester ruled that an ongoing doctor-patient relationship did exist between Fenton and Holmes, but he scheduled a Sept. 20 hearing to revisit the notebook issue.

Thursday's three-and-a-half-hour hearing was the longest yet that Holmes has attended. He appeared to pay close attention to the proceedings and smiled at least once as he leaned toward his attorney. Holmes had a light moustache but was otherwise clean-shaven, and his hair was blond and orange.

CBS News correspondent John Blackstone reports the 24-year-old Holmes seemed slightly more engaged than in previous appearances and talked briefly to his defense attorney, but did not directly look at Fenton or have any particular reaction when she spoke about him. He often had a strange wide-eyed expression as he looked around the courtroom.

Brady brought up the call placed by Holmes to show Fenton's doctor-patient relationship with him was ongoing. During questioning, Brady asked the psychiatrist if she could be reached at that after-hours number, to which Fenton replied she could.

Brady then asked: "Do you know that Mr. Holmes called that number 9 minutes before the shooting started?"

Fenton responded, "I did not."

Prosecutors noted Holmes also had Fenton's office phone number. He apparently did not try to reach her there.

Fenton testified that she last met with Holmes on June 11, and that she believed they had no doctor-patient relationship by July 19, the day prosecutors say Holmes mailed the notebook. She also said she contacted a campus police officer after meeting with Holmes on June 11.

"I communicated with (the officer) to gather more information on this case and also communicate my concerns," Fenton said.

Chief Deputy District Attorney Karen Pearson asked Fenton what information she wanted from police, but Brady objected and the judge barred the question.

When asked on the stand Thursday if she reported Holmes, who was studying neuroscience at the university's medical campus, as a "threat to harm," she said she did not.

University spokeswoman Erika Matich said the school would have no comment on Fenton's testimony, including any details about her contact with campus police.

"Dr. Fenton's testimony stands for itself," Matich said.

Fenton is one of three mental health professionals Holmes met with at the University of Colorado Denver, CBS News learned last week. The names of the two other professionals have not been publicly released.

Meanwhile, the University of Iowa released records showing it rejected Holmes from a graduate neuroscience program last year after he visited campus for an interview and left the program director bluntly warning colleagues: "Do NOT offer admission under any circumstances."

It was unclear why Holmes' application was denied, and university officials wouldn't elaborate. But the application response was yet another window into a complex young man who was viewed as both brilliant and deeply troubled before the July shooting.

Holmes applied to the Iowa program in late 2010 and was given an interview Jan. 28, 2011, according to records released by the university. In his application, he painted himself as a bright student interested in improving himself and helping the world with a career in scientific research.

But two days after Holmes' interview, neuroscience program director Daniel Tranel wrote a strongly worded email urging the admissions committee not to accept him to the school.

"James Holmes: Do NOT offer admission under any circumstances," wrote Tranel, a professor of neurology.

Psychology professor Mark Blumberg followed up with a separate email two days later to say he agreed with Tranel about Holmes, one of three students Blumberg interviewed. "Don't admit," he wrote. He recommended admission for the other two.

The emails are among 12 pages of records the university released about Holmes in response to public records requests filed by The Associated Press and other news outlets.

None of the documents further explain why Holmes' application was denied. University spokesman Tom Moore said Thursday that Holmes was academically qualified but officials did not see him as a "good personal fit for our program." He declined to elaborate.

Blumberg said in an email Thursday that he has no specific recollection of Holmes, noting officials interview many applicants each year. Tranel was not granting interview requests Thursday, a spokesman said.

Francesca Reed, marketing and social media chair of the National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals, reviewed the university's emails for the AP and said it was clear that Holmes left school officials with a very negative impression during the interview. But she noted that could have been the result of anything from his demeanor to his research interests.

"People are going to look at this and start to say, `He must have displayed some behavior that was a red flag," she said of Tranel's email regarding Holmes. "But if this shooting incident didn't happen, people would look at it differently. Without being on that committee, it's hard to pass judgment."

Admissions officials have no obligation to report potentially disturbed behavior from prospective students unless it amounts to a direct threat, said Reed, director of graduate admissions at Marymount University in Arlington, Va.,

Holmes later enrolled as a first-year Ph.D. student in a neuroscience program at the University of Colorado, Denver. He withdrew June 10.

His rejection from the Iowa school stands in contrast to his previously released application to a similar program at the University of Illinois, where he was offered admission with free tuition and $22,000 per year but declined to enroll.

Holmes said on his Iowa application that he also was applying to Texas A&M, Kansas, Michigan, Alabama and Colorado. He wrote that he had a thirst for knowledge and wanted to study the "science of learning, cognition and memory."

"I have always been fascinated by the complexities of a long lost thought seemingly arising out of nowhere into a stream of awareness," he wrote. "These fascinations likely stemmed from my interest in puzzles and paradoxes as an adolescent and continued through my curiosity in academic research."

Holmes added that he was passionate about neuroscience and would bring "my strong moral upbringing" to the program.

WARNING!!!
The suppression order imposed by Justice Sylvester is TOTALLY counter-productive to James Holmes defense and to the security of every citizen in the US. It is only fanning the flames of of conspiracy theories and paranoia of so many disturbed individuals in a similar situation to what Holmes was in. From everything that I have read to date in the media, plus my own research over forty years, the full picture will only AID his defense, whilst calming this paranoia, which so far has helped boost US gun sales enormously, especially in Colorado. I would question the motivation of the order, as it seems to me that it is simply to protect certain individuals from accusations of culpability and possible litigation, even threats to their personal security.

This is absolute nonsense as it resides in the erroneous supposition that schizophrenia is inherited, therefore proper screening and assessment must have been negligent in allowing Holmes to slip through the net. This case is about, not just US society, but every society on Earth. Never before, to my knowledge, has a case came up which would throw so much light on psychosis, as it has arisen out of the very heart of psychiatry, neurology, etc. of a major US University, one which thus should have the ability to to EXAMINE ITSELF as it relates to Holmes, as has never happened before in history. I have sent 40 emails to researchers at the Anschutz Faculty of Medicine with links to my blog on Tumlr http://www.tumblr.com/blog/noduleata.

Hearing Holmes own story is ABSOLUTELY PIVOTAL, OBVIOUSLY. However, he is in no condition to elucidate anything in his current position. His mind has to function properly. This is about the US Bill of Rights, ie freedom of speech for EVERY citizen, including him and every other person with a psychiatric disorder who are EXCLUDED from said freedom by social prejudice. Therefore he must be moved to a decent non-threatening environment, give proper food, under no coercion whatsoever and ALL CHARGES AGAINST HIM MUST BE DROPPED or he will not be amenable to telling the whole TRUTH. He is both a victim and a witness in what must be an inquiry into the root causes of violence and psychosis. ALL EXECUTIONS in all US States must be suspended as they are STATE MURDER and provide justification for murder by individuals.

Coming up this week is a decision as to whether the European Central Bank will be allowed to loan directly to basket case European nations, plus the US Fed will soon have to decide if it will engage in more QE (quantitative easing) ie blow out the money supply to possibly dangerous levels in BOTH cases. A slump on world Markets could impose so much extra hardships on vulnerable individuals as to trigger A LOT MORE gun violence, thereby destabilizing markets even further. Looting and panic buying on top of the blow out in the money supply could light the fire of global HYPERINFLATION and the collapse of the world economy. This is all about fairness, after all, and at the moment the US is one of the most UNFAIR nations on Earth, with Australia not far behind, but much worse than the US as far as Freedom of Speech is concerned ie the Australian ABC.

Nodulta: James Holmes' mind was diseased as much as a clear cell renal cancer patients' kidney is diseased. It is all biological. And genetic. Everything James did in his psychosis made perfect sense to his diseased mind, just like a cancer patient, before diagnosis, knows something is not right. We shall soon find out why James was given up for adoption - most likely his Mum or Dad had mental illness. It is just so heartbreaking how he tried to reach out, privately, in moments of lucidity. I believe James Holmes (and his poor victims) will advance medical science greatly. Your posts are all over the place.

I know there are biological changes in the brain in schizophrenic eg up regulation of dopamine receptors. However these can be explained as the result of long term stress. In the case of cognitive impairment due to inheritance, it the bullying resulting from being 'weird' that causes the schizophrenia. I cover the whole subject extensively in my Tumblr blog but the damn link doesn't work. COPY THIS LINK INTO YOUR WORD PROCESSOR then it should go blue, ie active. Press Ctrl and click on the link.

I wrote the following in response to the Religious program Encounter on Australia's ABC in which Dietrich Bonhoeffer got a mention..

Bonhoeffer was a Lutheran, as was James Holmes, attending church with his parents from an early age. So where were the Lutherans when the this 'difficult' individual started cracking up about a year or more ago, holed up in his flat psychotic and facing homelessness. Nowhere it would seem. Maybe it was his Christian upbringing that actually led to his psychosis, all those massacres by Moses, then Joshua, in the Old testament. God (the voices) told Abraham to go up into the mountain and slaughter his son Isaac. What if the same voices told Holmes that if he didn't go and slaughter those 'evil' people in the theater that night then he was going to burn in Hell forever, then gave him a taste of paranoia so intense he was on the edge of catatonia? Hell on Earth indeed and ETERNAL when you are there.

I have no doubt whatsoever that Holmes must have attempted to get help from the media a number of times, and it was not the least interested in talking to a 'nutter'. I know this from my own personal experience. I am about to send emails to all the major US radio network, beginning with PBS, to see how THEY respond to my request for a radio interview to explain the desperation of MY situation to a US audience because 20 years of trying the Australian media has only made my situation worse, whenever I have had publicity, so that now it is almost terminal.

As to help I have received from Christians. In 1970 I lost TWO abalone boats with the death of my deckhand on each occasion, punishment by God I believed for my backsliding, and punishment by man by enormous stigma against me. The local Baptist minister visited me in hospital after I lost the first boat and was being treated for suicidal depression. He said with great compassion, "The reason you lost that boat and the young man died was because you turned your back on the Lord Jesus Christ." Jesus wept!!! What wonderful therapy? What love! Just the shot when you believe that anyway. Well not any more!

All I heard on Encounter tonight was the usual sanctimonious tripe that simply alienates even further. Flowery, meaningless talk. There is no love, ANYWHERE. 40 years of being abused has taught me that. It is a myth, a delusion that Christians especially go on and on about. Plenty of 'righteous indignation' which is just another name for malice. 15 years camped in a National Park, sometimes not seeing another human being for up to 6 weeks, a refugee in my own country, waiting for just one person to lift a finger to help expose my plight.

I don't expect this comment to be accepted by the ABC. Not to worry as I'll plaster it all over the US media anyway. I've already spent the last 5 weeks putting long comments about Holmes on all major US news networks and blogs. I very rarely get one rejected in the US, as it's media seems to think I know something about the subject of abuse. However, comments are no substitute for a nationwide radio interview, especially one which explains what happened to Holmes. There are so many similarities. Ironically I have even spent some time studying neurology when I began building biofeedback equipment, as I am an electronic technician. I also attended Lorne Cancer and Genome conferences for about 12 years.

Why I KNOW what Holmes has copped!

For about 25 years I have been trying to get the Australian ABC to give me publicity about the abuse I've copped in that time. The Australian media, ABC especially, has treated me with total contempt for many years. In this time I have lost my home, abalone license, boat, workshops, been put into jail twice, bin twice, been thrown out of 9 places with my life threatened on three occasions if I didn't get out immediately, had a bush camp smashed up with all camping gear stolen by rangers. I have had 5 lots of property stolen from places I have been thrown out of, including the Sisters of Mercy monastery in Apollo Bay by the NUNS. The law is of no help as those supposed to uphold the law break it themselves repeatedly in my experience.

Now cop this. I tried to get publicity about the death of SIX of my deckhands, 3 by suicide and 3 in boat accidents, 2 on my my boats in 1970. In 1968 I was flown to an off shore oil rig with the worst case of bends the decompression chamber operators had ever seen. Many years later the abalone diver son of a famous Australian country and western singer hanged himself in bush up above where my boat accidents took place in the most bizarre circumstances.. Despite writing to the ABC and later emailing on numerous occasions in total desperation, I very rarely receive a reply, usually sarcastic or patronizing when I do, even though there is an incredible story in this. I have tried unsuccessfully to have a police inquiry into my boat accidents, despite there not being a coroners inquest when I lost the second boat. Two magistrates told me there would NEVER be a police inquiry.

Four years ago I sent 16 ABC presenters the same booklet "The (Obama) Rescue Package, Why it Cannot Work." followed by 3 CD's of music I had made and none of them even had the common courtesy to acknowledge that they had received the material. Yet listening to these people on air one would think they were the very bastions of compassion and understanding. What people don't realize is that to be ignored is seen by the abused as every bit as much abuse as those directly abusing and in the case of the psychotic as part of a giant conspiracy. I believe that James Holmes was treated with the same disdain by the media when he tried to get help, and this contributed to the massacre.

He went through all of societies superfluous hoops in order to seek help. He knew he was mentally ill. The fact that his psychiatrist Lynne Fenton denied having a doctor patient relationship with Holmes, and the fact that she was extremely negligent to him, and the fact that he tried to call her right before the shooting all point to Holmes seeking help, and being denied. In my opinion, Lynne Fenton was a catalyst to these shootings, if not more responsible than Holmes himself, for she not only has her sanity, but also has a profession which helps those that do not. She should be fired and shamed for passing this "problem" off to the next person instead of helping.

Johnathon, if James was pretty paranoid at the time, given his position at Uni, all the conspiracy theories online etc. it would be all too easy for him to believe that he was being subject to mind control by Fenton. But then what does one call mind control. Just normal psychiatry could be called mind control, ie attempted coercion by the shrink for him to take antipsychotic drugs.

I found this comment by him in reference to a schizophrenic kid he was mentoring at a camp "The medication changed them from highly energetic creative kids to lax beings who slept through the activities. I wanted to help them but couldn't," he wrote. "This is where neuroscience research becomes invaluable."

Thus I can't see him taking an antipsychotic no matter what, meaning he'd become increasingly paranoid. I had a shrink try to get me to take Clozapine once and I refused as I know just how toxic that can be, ie agranularcytosis. So, Fenton trying to coerce him into taking an antipsychotic, no REAL help at all, which is normal for psychiatry, ridicule from his peers, disowned?, no chance of employment, homelessness coming up it would be easy for him to see a massive conspiracy AND feel enormous hostility toward society.

When catatonic on big dosed of acid I've actually believed that every atom in the Universe was colluding to get me. I imagine, given his very precarious position, he'd be close to going catatonic with no one to turn to. Any chance of more info?

Ok, so he doesn't go ahead, gets arrested all fitted out in his armour and with his guns and, seen as a huge threat, spends many years in a max security mental hospital, compulsorily medicated on the most toxic of all drugs, the antipsychotics the last thing on Earth he'd want. Hell on Earth.

As psychotic as he is he KNEW that only a massacre would get media attention and he'd just have to take a chance on the outcome. Max security mental hospital and homeless in the street are simply not options, leaving only suicide as he is TOTALLY alienated by this stage, by his threats, guns and explosives. But why SHOULD he allow society to deliberately drive him to suicide. Here the law totally loses credibility, especially when law enforcers also break the very laws they are supposed to be upholding in their treatment of psychotics, as well as inventing laws knowing that there will be no redress because the psychotic is totally cut off from the means of redress.

Here we get to the very roots of terrorism. What does it matter if you get executed if your only other option is suicide IMPOSED upon you intentionally or due to gross insensitivity. You buy time, have somewhere to live and have a chance to present your case. Then if life becomes untenable you still have the option of suicide anyway.

Every step up to this stage has been imposed upon him by a grossly insensitive and avaricious society. So who is culpable? If one is going to blame Holmes then one has to say he was wrong not to choose suicide, thereby invalidating the argument.

noduleata says:
The guns and explosives were NOT necessarily part of a long term plan at all, but a response to a more immediate threat. This alternative would make him look far less devious as he would NOT be planning ahead.

I believe that initially he wired up his flat with explosives to prevent another tenant taking his apartment, because he only had a month to get out once he resigned his PhD course and faced homelessness. The $26,000 he was paid by the NIH was probably all the money he had and he would have had to pay that back leaving him broke, psychotic and homeless, no friends, no offers of real help from ANYWHERE. So he uses the money to buy the explosives and the guns and ammo, keeping some for food. How much credit card debt did he have Was he paying his car off and was behind in payments, threatened with repossession? Backed into a corner with NO escape?

Being faced with forced eviction with the very real possibility of a confrontation with the police, in which case he could be shot dead, armed or not armed or with just a carving knife. Happens a lot in Australia, attitude good riddance. What the police don't seem to realise that every schizophrenic that reads or hears about the shooting of a schizophrenic, become terrified that they might be next. Very rarely is there an inquiry, which always exonerates the police anyway. Recently 5 cops in Victoria couldn't stop a 14 year old kid yielding a knife from advancing on them, despite using capsicum spray on him, and shot him dead. What about a dart tranquilliser gun, pure ammonia in some sort of water pistol. To many other paranoid schizophrenics that was MURDER.

What property he had would be thrown out into the street LEGALLY and stolen, possibly by neighbors only too keen to help out. Forget legal right for a psychotic. Everybody, police included, just ignore the law to get rid of a nutter. Hope he commits suicide. This is reality and what CREATES psychosis and a hatred of society that goes with it.

So I reckon he was initially preparing for a gun siege from his flat, having the strategic advantage of being on the second floor, preferring to die in his flat than out in the gutter somewhere. Who would care. NOBODY. How the hell do 3 shrinks help in any way. He needed REAL help, not coercive mumbo jumbo and a poisonous antipsyvhotic. Unfortunately it just ain't available. If it was there'd be no such thing as psychosis. So US, put yourself on trial.

Actually, the $26,000 NIH grant (keyword:grant) was a GRANT, not a loan. Therefore, he would not have to pay it back. Apparently, based on other news reports, he was looking for a new apartment weeks before the shooting took place. If he was that worried about being homeless and paying bills, why waste the money on guns, ammo, and explosives??
noduleata replies:
linkicon reporticon emailicon
Sure, a grant provided that he finished his PhD. That what it was for. He didn't finish so I presume he'd have to pay it back. Speaking from personal experience as a ex psychotic, his chances of finding another apartment would be zero should the landlord know he was schizophrenic, or should he get one, a 'friend' would consider it his or her duty to inform the landlord that he or she had a dangerous nutter living in his or her house. Not just a nutter but also a paedophile, thief, rapist etc.

The landlord, acting illegally, would then give him five minutes to get out or else, whilst having badmouthed him all over town to get support for said action, inadvertently ensuring that he had nowhere to go. No 'friend' would offer him accommodation as psychotics don't have any, no matter how desperate his situation. Then the landlord would throw all of his property out into the street, sell it or just steal it. If Holmes complained to the police they wouldn't believe him, neither would a case manager, preferring to believe the landlords lies. Trapped in a VISE.

In Australia, if you are homeless, no matter where you go, National Park, Crown land, Water Catchment, State forest, the beach, in the gutter, squat in a derelict public building, you are breaking Local, State or Federal law. Therefore it is illegal to be ALIVE. Get found and you get charged with trespass and fined $1,000 after being told you must find a house to rent or get 6 month custodial sentence next time you trespass. IMPOSSIBLE as noone will give you one, the fine guarantees you ain't got bond money, and today's rentals are totally beyond your disability pension.

Park Rangers will confiscate all your camping gear to prevent you 're-offending' then take it all home, ie steal it thus leaving you with nowhere on Earth to live, INTENTIONALLY as they, and lots of others, would love you to suicide so they can feel safe from your possible violent reaction to their malice. So you buy some cheap camping gear, go back into the forest as you have nowhere else on Earth to live but have to conceal yourself like a fugitive, jail escapee.

Each time this happens, local townfolk become even more concerned of a violent backlash, frightened you might turn up one day carrying an AK-47 and start blasting, even if, like me, you have absolutely NO history of violence. You are just biding your time. After all if it was one of them they would be seething with malice, wanting to kill, kill, kill. So they judge you according to their own standards.

Nine times I got kicked out of houses and National park since 1988 when I was bankrupted. When I was chucked out of a Sisters of 'Mercy' convent where I had emergency accommodation for about 18 months, in absolute desperation I wrote three 'deterrent' letters and sent then to the state police commissioner, a magistrate, local cops and rangers, minister for Parks etc. Then I went back into the National Park, got found, fined $1,000 but noone ever fronted me about paying it and other fines for trespass, around $3,600.

By now it was dawning on authorities that I was being horrifically and unjustly abused, and being deep in dense forest the possibility that I w3as constructing various deterrents, and not wanting to make a martyr of me, they backed off. In my letters I had finally made them aware of the insane anomalies in the law. If I have become a monster they belatedly now have to admit that they have created me.

I've now been here 12 years but with no resolution. Not once has ANYONE, family included, ever lifted a finger to stop the abuse. Mental hospitals twice, jail twice, 5 lots of property stolen from me, including everything I was going to start a landscaping business by the Nuns at the Sister of Malice.

My claim that I have come out the other side of psychosis is taken by people in my town to mean that I am now totally psychopathic, a seething mass of hatred just biding my time, but unable to do anything about me for reasons I have mentioned. They are totally wrong, but how do I convince them of that. You have to go insane to understand insanity, ie society, but once having gone insane and come out the other side you can't do anything with this knowledge, because you are discredited by having gone insane. Catch 44.

Thus I know perfectly well what Holmes has copped and I know why he committed the massacre, or should I say, the US committed the massacre.

noduleata says:
I'd reckon that this call was Holmes last ditch attempt to get some REAL help, which psychiatry AIN'T. Quite the opposite as events have clearly shown. Each threat he made was ditto, trying to FORCE society to help when it wasn't, and NEVER is, forthcoming for someone deemed to be mad. Already, psychotic he was very soon to become homeless, penniless, friendless, disowned? and, with not one shred of compassion coming from anywhere on Earth. DEAD MAN LAYING IN THE GUTTER. He wanted to be STOPPED from committing the massacre so that people realsized the desperation of his situation, so that he'd be saved at the very last minute.

Nothing happens. So he goes ahead, now believing he be will be forgiven as it was the ONLY way possible to highlight the plight of the psychotic, so that something REAL, like accommodation is provided for them, just like it is for EARTHQUAKE, FLOOD and FIRE VICTIMS. Actually believing that would happen made him TRULY psychotic as most of the comments make abundantly clear.

Did he, on making the call,l change his mind or decide it's too late at night for Fenton to be awake, or that it was a waste of time and hang up, then enter the theatre. What is he going to tell her anyway at this stage. His thinking is not gonna be exactly very calm. He is schizophrenic, meaning oscillating between optimism and pessimism. Doesn't go ahead get's arrested with all that gear on and guns, max security bin forever with minimal publicity.

He did prove one thing, for what it's worth. That it IS impossible for someone deemed psychotic to get any REAL help whatsovever, that compassion for the MAD in society is nil, zilch, zero unless you call being labelled schizophrenic, poisoned with an antipsychotic, or have you brained fried with ECT help. Noone ever tried harder for help and not one single drop was forthcoming, not a shred. He also proved that getting publicity for one's plight is only possible with an act of horrific violence. Take note media if that's possible.

That's why people ARE mad you see, when they are equated with vermin, BAD and MAD, scum, get thrown out of house after house illegally, exploited, have what little property they accumulate stolen time and time again, abused, scapegoated, patronized, assaulted, raped, ridiculed, abused. Coppers won't help them even though a myriad illegalities are being perpetrated against them, just tell them to '**** off'. Living on the street, bottle of cheap plonk, looking bloody dreadfull, jabbering away to themselves, in HELL. Get shot dead for sport then hosed down the drain with the rest of the garbage for the rats and cockroaches to feed on. Something for Jimmy to look forward to.

So as long as society is going to treat people thus it is gonna have to cop the massacres that occur from time to time as a result. Don't blame people like Holmes. He'd probably claim that his approach to the problem was quite measured in proportion to what he'd copped, or even restrained. What if he hadda got hold of a bloody tank, or an aircraft carrier fleet and blasted the crap out of Iraq, just like that nice Mr Bush when HE went berserk in a theatre of war just cause Mr Hussien threatened to assassinate the Bush family after Desert Storm in '91.

What is good for the goose is ok for the gander. Fry Holmes and fry Bush at the same time. Bush was probably Holmes' role model

All that was said was that a call was made to the switchboard to the hospital...they have no idea who made the call......follow along here closely troll......the police stated that they found his cellphone in his apartment and was booked as evidence.....so if the call was made at that time....he would have to have made it from home or near home.....

So if it happens as you say it happened....just show me the video of the police dash cam when he was arrested, the CCTV video from inside if the theater, a cellphone video from inside the theater, an eye witness testimony saying they saw him in the theater and doing the shooting.....but there is not one eye witness that can indentify or place him in the theater that eve...NOT ONE!!!!!
Isnt it strange that hundreds of people that eve and not one remember seeing the guy with the orange hair....
No positive tests as to whether he even fired a gun that eve...

The only evidence against him is the Govt telling us he did it.... no other evidence exists otherwise you would see the videos of him walking in the theater, you would see the numerous cellphone videos.....You would have numerous witnesses of people that sat next to him etc........but in the end.....there is nothing...
People....do your own research....look at the evidence or lack of it.....open you eyes ..please.

Yeah, I thought about the caller not speaking, however most good home phones (and mobiles of course) log the call and the number of the caller, but there is no mention of that in the media. I'm just assuming that, being so desperate for a resolution, he would make a last ditch call, but change his mind when he realized that nothing WOULD be resolved. If he gets arrested with all the gear on and with his guns he's in max security for years and drugged. If he goes back home he'd probably go into the Hell of a catatonic coma not knowing what's gonna happen next, and not come out of it. As long as a resolution is in sight, ANY resolution, he'd keep out of this Hell. Night after night of terrible insomnia would exacerbate his delusions. His windows covered would increase his paranoia.

I've been frozen stiff in catatonia many times on big doses of acid a long while ago, and believed that I was going to be put on trial and burned at the stake. The terror of catatonia is so horrific that I actually wanted to be grabbed and tried, so that SOMETHING was actually happening, that being burned at the stake was better burning in the CONFUSION of this psychological Hell.

This is a factor that NOBODY in the media or anywhere else is considering as it is the most delusional state of all, when the radio, tele, billboards etc. are sending you messages. Holmes would do whatever kept him out of Hell, even just out. Anyway, as the Joker underdog he'd be killing the CLASS enemy, the bourgeois worshippers of Batman representing the establishment that was crucifying him, ie the theatre audience. Kids, collateral damage, to quote McVey, himself quoting Stormin' Norman. Holmes had swapped sides. How many video games that he watched were war about class war, a righteous left blasting an unrighteous right. (Incidentally I'm a non violent anarchist but have been on both sides at different times.). How many class wars HAVE started with some sort of atrocity, and which inspired him. Che's messianic posters, and on tee ***** are everywhere.

I'm positive that many mass murderers have believed that their massacre would start a class war, left OR right, if not beginning immediately, within days. They don't show much political savvy, just a crude upstairs vs. downstairs, boss vs. worker mentality.

Holmes had been a Batman worshipper but had swapped sides, presumably once he starts getting rejected by Uni assessors. What did the video games tell him to do when he was extremely paranoid, as he would have been, leading up to the attack, especially once he died his hair red. I don't watch the bloody things so I haven't a clue. What sort of tele did he watch, live or online?

As to not being seen by theatre patrons, staff, video cameras etc., all he had to do is wear a cap over his hair, not all that complicated really eh!

When applying an understanding of extreme psychosis I don't see any need for conspiracies, just a kid driven crazy be an insane society and IT'S paranoia. I've got no compunctions in admitting that I have enormous sympathy for Jimmy and will do whatever I can to get him off the hook, even if that means some sort of DECENT detention for his own safety.

James Holmes is a Patsy. There are multiple witnesses that have stated there were mulltiple shooters. There are police recordings from that eve where the police are talking about multiple shooters and suspects/////the photgraphic evidence show multiple two sets of body armor and two gas masks( tagged as evidence, not left by police)...
There is no evidence that james holmes fired a gun....there is no police dash cam video of how he was arrested, there is no CCTV footage from the parking lot of the theater, there is No CCTV from the inside of theater...there is not One cell phone video from the inside of the theater that eve....There is not one eye witness that can testify that they saw James Holmes in the theater that eve( think about that ! ) A guy with orange hair goes into the theater and not one person remembers him???
A team of professionals did this shooting, not James Holmes who was found drugged out of his mind in his car...they did not even take his booking photo until 3 days after the shooting...
Ask yourself....besides the media telling you he did this....what hard evidence is there against him????
And if CCTV or other evidence is not show to the publice because of the Gag order...than why do these stories make it out to the public....
Think people....do your own research.
