When it comes time to film their life story, Americans overwhelmingly want Steven Spielberg behind the camera. The other male directors, with their well known points of view and eccentricities, all got about the same number of votes. The only female director on the list, Nora Ephron got only six percent, with a miniscule two percent of men choosing her. So, final question: who were those two percent?

Listened to Glenn Beck Wed bringing up the money trail "Climate Gate" has already established. I know that others may label this news as radical and impossible, but if this is true, YOU will be affected with the passage of the Climate Bill to PAY for "AIR". As, a consumer of energy, I believe that we should promote, clean, etc., our enviornment, but if we are fleeced over the bill, then there is a greater problem. CBS, PLEASE take the time to confirm or deny "Climate Gate". This information would be very harmful to our economy.

Anyone who knows the U.S. Constitution KNOWS we are in trouble. Congress is passing unconstitutional laws and raising taxes as fast as they can. Jan. 1, 2012 will be a wake-up call for those who don't know what is happening (maybe it will take getting your 1st paycheck in January to wake-up). Congress no longer listens to their constituents (unless they agree with them). The Tea Party is long overdue.

You can't imagine how strange this is to witness as someone outside looking in. On the one hand, the rage behind the rhetoric is kind of scary, but on the other.....the teabaggers are, by and large, pretty ridiculous.

Only 43% got the connection between Waterloo and Napolean, which explains why the Tea Party movement is considered "the beginning of a much needed resolution." The 60 something percent that believe that is primarily made up by the 57% who don't know history.

Lighten up, don't take yourself so seriously. Your opinion doesn't count anymore than a drop of rain in the ocean. This kind of thing is for us to see where we are in relation to other people, no more no less. A little amusing way to compare ourselves with others.

Like Nor-One said, they think you are an idiot. Everyone that has any real power thinks the rest of us are idiots. The Legislators have even proved we are idiots, they do what they want to do and blame it on other people. They cause the problems and then campaign against what they caused. Blaming the liberals or the conservatives is what they like to see. That way they remain blameless, and they have you fooled because you keep repeating whatever they say.

Quit wasting your time blaming people. Get off your b^tt and make sure both of your senators have different jobs after 2012. Get out there and make sure your congressman doesn't return to Washington next election.

I think the saddest thing this poll shows is that less than half could even connect Waterloo with Napoleon. Probably even fewer that have any idea what it refers to. Seems American education is failing in history as well as math and science.
