60 Minutes/Vanity Fair Poll: October Edition

• Which meat would you have the hardest time giving up?

Americans love their beef and nearly a third of them (32 percent) would have a hard time giving it up. Next up is chicken with 26 percent, the other white meat pork with five percent and lamb with five percent. The final third of Americans (31 percent) said they could give them all up easily. With destructive droughts and floods creating havoc with our future food and feed supplies we may not have much choice in the matter.

HARD EVIDENCE OF MEDIA BIAS AND BETRAYAL OF THE PRINCIPLES OF "JOURNALISM":

In the graphic above, 48 percent say Yes, 42 Percent say No.

YET the graphic makes it look like current voting has the poll at 70 percent No.

Damn, I wish we lived in a country with an honest press!

These are two separate polls asking the same question. The bar graph with the 70% figure is a depiction of the data collected by CBS News in phone interviews. The 48%/42% figures are an independent poll from the readers of this particular article.

I am a Scientologist and have been for over 40 years. Yes, I am quite certain it is a religion. Religions believe that there is more to existence than the physical world we see around us. They believe there is a spiritual quality to mankind that transcends this life. Those are basic tenets of Scientology, too.
