Cops: N.Y. doc arrested, sold Oxycodone from car

(CBS) CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. - A Long Island doctor has been arrested for allegedly selling Oxycodone out of his car.

CBS New York reports that federal officials say Dr. Leonard Stambler, 60, did not have an office but delivered pills to patients they believe were reselling or abusing them.

(CBS) BAY CITY, Texas - All four children allegedly shot by their father at their southeast Texas home Wednesday have died, say police.

CBS affiliate KHOU reports that two of the boys, ages 3 and 5, died Thursday morning, and the others, ages 2 and 4, died later the same day.

Man convicted of shooting wife after no kiss

(CBS/AP) SANFORD, Fla. - A jealous central Florida man was convicted Thursday of killing his wife, allegedly because she refused to kiss him after she came home late.

A Seminole County Jury convicted 43-year-old Evangelista Lopez of second-degree murder for shooting his wife six times in September 2007.

(CBS/AP) DECATUR, Ala. - A linebacker for the Oakland Raiders was arrested Thursday after police say he fired a gun during a fight in his hometown.

Rolando McClain, 22, was charged with assault, menacing, reckless endangerment and firing a gun inside the city limits, after police say he held a gun to a man's head then fired it beside his ear.
