(CBS/AP) LAS VEGAS - Boxer Floyd Mayweather will spend 90 days behind bars after pleading guilty to charges stemming from an assault on his ex-girlfriend in September 2010.

Mayweather, who was accused of punching and threatening his ex-girlfriend and threatening their two children during an argument, could have faced up to 34 years in prison.

Cops: Kan. student found safe, wasn't abducted

(CBS/AP) OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - The college student who disappeared Friday after reportedly being harassed by a drunk man, has been found safe. Police say she was never abducted.

The search for Aisha Khan, 19, who was last seen on the University of Kansas Edwards campus Friday, involved several law enforcement agencies. On Tuesday, her parents offered a $10,000 reward for information about her whereabouts.

Men sentenced in case of fatal Phillies beating

(CBS) PHILADELPHIA - Three men who pleaded guilty to beating a Phillies fan to death in 2009 have been sentenced to jail time.

CBS Philadelphia reports that the incident occurred outside Citizens Bank Park in 2009 following spilled drinks in a crowded bar and an alcohol-fueled brawl that ended in the parking lot. 22-year-old David Sale was killed in the scuffle.
