NYC Cops: Four teens rob, sexually assault couple

(CBS) NEW YORK - Authorities say four teens tied up a couple, ransacked their Brooklyn home and took turns sexually assaulting the woman.

The New York Daily News reports while one thief went to get cash with stolen ATM cards, the other three teens repeatedly forced the 22-year-old victim to perform oral sex, prosecutors said.

LA school's entire staff removed amid abuse probe

(CBS) LOS ANGELES - L.A. school officials have temporarily replaced the entire staff of the Miramonte Elementary School,  where two teachers have been accused of lewd acts against students.

The Los Angeles Times reports the officials are hoping the move will help quell growing anger by parents.

(CBS/AP) ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Samantha Koenig, 18, who police say was abducted at gunpoint from her espresso stand, had filed for a restraining order against a man.

Her father, James Koenig Jr., said Monday that she was too scared to show up for the hearing.

Josh Powell left final voicemail before house fire

(CBS/AP) GRAHAM, Wash. -- Authorities say before Josh Powell killed himself and his two young sons in a deadly house fire, he left a voicemail saying he couldn't live without the boys and didn't want to go on anymore.

ABC News has aired on "Good Morning America" what it says was a voicemail Powell left for his family members just 20 minutes before attacking his two young boys with a hatchet and igniting his home.

"I am not able to live without my sons, and I'm not able to go on anymore. I'm sorry to everyone I've hurt. Goodbye," the voicemail message said.

Cops: Powell planned fire, used hatchet on boys

(CBS/AP) GRAHAM, Wash. -- Authorities say Josh Powell planned the fatal house fire that killed himself and his two young sons Sunday.

Investigators said Powell boxed up their books and toys and took them to a charity. He carried heavy cans of gasoline inside his house and set aside a hatchet. In several emails he sent out he told people "I'm sorry," and others where to find his financial accounts, and how they could shut off his utilities. He made no mention of his wife, Susan Powell, missing for the past two years.

(CBS/AP) JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Missouri teenager Alyssa Bustamante, who admitted stabbing, strangling and slitting the throat of a young neighbor girl, wrote in her journal on the night of the killing that it was an "ahmazing" and "pretty enjoyable" experience -- then headed to church.
