Surgery Tech Kristen Parker Gets 30 Years For Infecting 36 Patients with Hepatitis C

DENVER (CBS/AP) Kristen Parker, a Denver based surgery technician who infected three dozen people with hepatitis C and may have exposed thousands more while hiding her drug addiction from hospital officials, has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.

The 27-year-old received the sentence Wednesday in federal court in Denver after pleading guilty to some of the charges in the case.

Hey 50 Cent, Get Out of My Sex Tape! Woman Sues Rapper for Cutting in on Her Intimate Video

NEW YORK (CBS) 50 Cent, what are you doing in my sex tape?!

Florida woman Lastonia Leviston is suing the rapper, according to E! Online, claiming he used her name and likeness without permission, when he edited himself into her sex tape, and posted it on his own website.

Leviston is also apparently not happy that "Mr. Cent" dressed up in a red wig, too, for his unauthorized role. She says her boyfriend, whose face is blurred, was supposed to destroy the tape, but either sold it or otherwise transferred it to the rapper, who used it as comic fodder.

MAUI, Hawaii (CBS) Laura Vogel, an avid surfer and experienced camper, has gone missing in Hawaii.

Vogel was last heard from Sunday night, Feb. 21. She told a friend she planned to camp alone in the Pauwela area of Maui County, but sent a text saying "I'm camped down the way from birthing pools and meeting all the locals."

Exclusive: Johnny Depp on "West Memphis Three" -- "It's Time to Find the Killers"

NEW YORK (CBS News) Movie star Johnny Depp says he empathizes with Damien Echols, one of the "West Memphis Three." In 1994, Echols and two other teenagers were convicted for the brutal murders of three young boys in West Memphis, Ark.

In an exclusive interview for 48 Hours | Mystery Depp told CBS News, "Oh, I immediately related to Damien, what he went through growing up. He comes from a small town in Arkansas. I come from a relatively small town in Kentucky. I can remember kind of being looked upon as a freak or different, because I didn't dress like everybody else. So I can empathize with being judged by how you look."

Depp went on to describe Echols, who has been on death row since 1994, as "a very sensitive, very intelligent young man."

The episode of 48 Hours | Mystery on the "West Memphis Three" featuring Depp's interview, will air this Saturday, February 27.

LINO LAKES, Minn. (CBS/AP) On June 10, 2006, Koua Fong Lee's car shot up an exit ramp at a speed police said was between 70 and 90 miles per hour. His car hit an Oldsmobile on the ramp, killing three people.

"I know 100 percent in my heart that I took my foot off the gas and that I was stepping on the brakes as hard as possible," Lee said in an interview yesterday at the state prison in Lino Lakes, north of Minneapolis.
