NEW YORK (CBS) The NY Post reports that a pair described as "good ol' country boys" needed no prompting to confess their alleged laundry list of crimes to Port Authority cops in New Jersey.
The big-mouthed men, who were visiting New York from Tennessee, were pulled over when officers noticed their 1994 Acura Integra's tinted windows and missing license plate, according to the Post.

(CBS/AP) The state of Florida will be saddled with much of the bill for defending Casey Anthony, accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee in the summer of 2008, after a judge ruled that she qualifies as indigent, despite having been paid $200,000 for her personal photographs by ABC News.

REHOBOTH, Mass. (CBS/AP) Kim Peno, a 38-year-old mother charged with beating her 2-year-old son to death, apparently has a history of mental illness, and reportedly had been off her medication for two weeks before the alleged fatal beating on Friday, said CBS affiliate WBZ.
Peno pleaded not guilty to the charges on Monday, and asked a judge to allow her to attend her son's funeral. The judge turned down her request.
