TEMPE, Ariz. (CBS/KPHO) Tempe Police have new information in the murder of Arizona State University student Kyleigh Sousa.

An Arizona driver's license that belonged to a friend of Sousa's and was stolen during the incident that left Sousa dead was found in a U.S. Postal Service mailbox in the Phoenix area, investigators said.Continue »

LOS ANGELES (CBS/KCAL/AP) Lonnie Franklin Jr., the man charged in the "Grim Sleeper" killings, was punched by another inmate at the Los Angeles County jail, according to an official.

Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said Wednesday night that the attack occurred Friday in an attorney waiting room.Continue »

Apparently that was too much to ask of former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, who allegedly tried to spend a little too much quality time with his wife during a prison visitation.

Corrections authorities have accused him of sexual misconduct after a guard claimed Kilpatrick touched his wife's breast during a visit July 4.

Mexico Drug Gang Hits Cops with Car Bomb

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico (CBS/AP) Members of a northern Mexico drug gang rammed a car that may have been packed with explosives or inflammable material into two police patrol trucks Thursday in the border city of Ciudad Juarez on Thursday, killing two officers and a medical technician, and wounding nine people.

Federal police said the attack - which may be one of the first uses of an explosive-packed car in Mexico - was in retaliation for the arrest of a top leader of the La Linea drug gang, Jesus Acosta Guerrero, earlier in the day.Continue »

Mich. Couple Convicted in Stamos Extortion Case

MARQUETTE, Mich. (CBS/AP) Allison Coss and Scott Sippola were found guilty of trying to extort $680,000 from actor John Stamos by threatening to sell old photos of him with strippers and cocaine to the tabloids unless he paid up.

Coss, 24, and Sippola, 31, both of Marquette, were convicted in federal court of conspiracy and using e-mail to threaten a person's reputation - charges that could land them in prison for up to five years.Continue »

MALAGA, Spain (CBS) Legendary James Bond actor Sean Connery is being investigated for alleged tax fraud involving the sale of two large tracts of land in Spain.

Investigators say a property firm linked to the 79-year-old actor failed to pay taxes after he and his second wife sold land they owned on the outskirts of Malaga, Spain a UK paper reported Thursday.

MIAMI (CBS/AP) Colton Harris-Moore, the teen fugitive known to authorities as the "Barefoot Bandit," didn't say a word as the federal public defender temporarily assigned to represent him told a  federal judge Friday that Harris-Moore had waived extradition to his native Washington State just days after his first U.S. court appearance on Wednesday.

Ore. Police Seek Video of People Who Saw Kyron

PORTLAND, Ore. (CBS/KOIN/AP) In the days following the disappearance of Kyron Horman local and national media outlets interviewed his classmates, their parents and some of his teachers about the last time they saw the 7-year-old  the day he vanished - now the Multnomah County Sheriff is asking to see those tapes, hoping they might provide some clues as to Kyron's whereabouts.
