An Arizona driver's license that belonged to a friend of Sousa's and was stolen during the incident that left Sousa dead was found in a U.S. Postal Service mailbox in the Phoenix area, investigators said.Continue »

Apparently that was too much to ask of former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, who allegedly tried to spend a little too much quality time with his wife during a prison visitation.
Corrections authorities have accused him of sexual misconduct after a guard claimed Kilpatrick touched his wife's breast during a visit July 4.

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico (CBS/AP) Members of a northern Mexico drug gang rammed a car that may have been packed with explosives or inflammable material into two police patrol trucks Thursday in the border city of Ciudad Juarez on Thursday, killing two officers and a medical technician, and wounding nine people.
Federal police said the attack - which may be one of the first uses of an explosive-packed car in Mexico - was in retaliation for the arrest of a top leader of the La Linea drug gang, Jesus Acosta Guerrero, earlier in the day.Continue »

Investigators say a property firm linked to the 79-year-old actor failed to pay taxes after he and his second wife sold land they owned on the outskirts of Malaga, Spain a UK paper reported Thursday.

MIAMI (CBS/AP) Colton Harris-Moore, the teen fugitive known to authorities as the "Barefoot Bandit," didn't say a word as the federal public defender temporarily assigned to represent him told a federal judge Friday that Harris-Moore had waived extradition to his native Washington State just days after his first U.S. court appearance on Wednesday.
