FAIRFAX, Va. (CBS/AP) Springfield, Va. mother Marilyn R. Fischl, who prosecutors said supplied two friends with heroin and then left her 5-month-old in their care, was convicted and sentenced to 30 days in jail Wednesday for child abuse and neglect in connection with the infant's heroin overdose.

(CBS/AP) John Odgren's lawyers depicted him as a troubled 16-year-old with a long history of emotional problems and disorders, including Asperger's syndrome - a form of autism - attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, and depression. Last Friday, April 23, Russell Hantz was arrested in Lafayette, La. for allegedly pushing a woman to the ground near a bar that he owns there, called "Bootleggers." Hantz, who's a contestant on the villainous side of the current "Survivor: Heroes vs.Villains," and who was runner-up on the Samoa edition, was booked into the Lafayette Parish jail, and later released.
