Police say Donna Sclamo, of Worcester, Mass., slammed into the back of Col. Marian McGovern's SUV while McGovern was waiting at a red light in nearby Shrewsbury.

TOLEDO, Ohio (CBS/AP) An Ohio grand jury has handed up an indictment on attempted murder charges for Elias Abuelazam, the man suspected in a series of at least 20 stabbings across three states last spring and summer.

The indictment of the Israeli native stems from a stabbing attack against a church janitor in Toledo.

Music Exec Arrested for Possessing Loaded Gun

NEW YORK (CBS/AP) Rising hip-hop record executive Bryan Leach was arrested driving through New York City on Wednesday with a gun loaded with hollow-point bullets in his car, authorities said.

Leach, an RCA Music Group senior vice president, was pulled over for driving erratically in Manhattan shortly after midnight, prosecutors said. The .380-caliber, semiautomatic pistol gun was in the car's central console, the six bullets inside, according to a court complaint.

CONCORD, N.H. (CBS/AP) Jury selection begins Wednesday in the trial of 18-year-old Steven Spader, the alleged brains behind a disturbing plot to burglarize a random Mont Vernon home and kill its occupants.

Spader and co-defendant Christopher Gribble allegedly wielded a machete and knife in the pre-dawn attacks on Oct. 4, 2009, slashing 42-year-old Kimberly Cates to death and seriously injuring her 11-year-old daughter, Jaimie, who survived the attack.

Calif. Mother Kills Twin 3-Year-Old Daughters, Set Fire to Apartment

FAIRFIELD, Calif. (CBS/AP) Police say a Fairfield mother stabbed her twin 3-year-old daughters to death before attempting to take her own life, and set fire to her apartment.

Firefighters found the children's bodies around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at the apartment in Solano County after responding to reports of a fire, and extinguishing the blaze.
