Taliban Issued Statement in English About Peace Deal With Pakistan

(Taliban)
"The enemy is using this propaganda campaign to throw up Pakistan before Afghans as an invading force, so it can then invade Pakistan, as Pakistan is the only nuclear power in the Muslim world, and the kafirs (infidels) see this as a danger to their global hegemony, thus under this pretext America is trying to pave a way for it to destabilize Pakistan," said the statement.
The statement also made the common claim that the U.S. is being defeated in Afghanistan and urged the Pakistani government to act in the best interest of the country and the Pakistani people and not to serve America's foreign policies.

Al Qaeda Claims Responsibility For Danish Embassy Bombing
Al Qaeda claimed responsibility for the June 2nd attack on the Danish embassy in Islamabad and said it was a suicide operation carried out in retaliation for the cartoons mocking Prophet Mohammed published by a Danish paper.
"This operation is just a warning for this apostate state in order for them to refrain from mocking our prophet and apologize for what they did, and if they don't this will only be the beginning," said the statement, which was signed by al Qaeda's top official in Afghanistan Mustafa Abul Yazid and dated June 3rd. Abul Yazid also hailed the cooperation by Pakistani militants, who he claimed helped prepare for the operation.
The statement also noted the attack was also to fulfill al Qaeda leader's promise to respond to the publishing of the cartoon. Bin Laden had addressed the issue in an audiotape released last March. "The response is what you see, not what you hear, and let our mothers bereave us if we do not make victorious our prophet," he said in the March statement.
The authenticity of the statement could not be verified, but it was posted on a popular militant Islamist website often used by al Qaeda and other terrorist groups.
Al Zawahri Tells Palestinians "It's Your Right To Enter Egypt"

(Al Sahab)
"Those who besiege you are criminals and traitors and enemies of God and his messenger starting from the (Egyptian) national security soldier who protects the barriers of treason to Hosni Mubarak. It is your right to enter Egypt whenever you want to, and to destroy the barriers of treason whenever you want to. Whoever stands in your way has only himself to blame. Egypt is not the (private) ranch of Hosni Mubarak or his son."
Al Zawahri also urged Egyptians to revolt against President Hosni Mubarak, arguing that they "have a duty to rid their country from the traitor and corrupt leadership." He addressed those who live in Sinai in particular and called on them to support the Palestinians in Gaza. Al Zawahri also criticized the Egyptian government for allowing thousands of Israeli tourists into Sinai for the holidays without requiring visas, but not allowing drugs and supplies into Gaza through Egypt.
The 11-minute tape was released on the occasion of the anniversary of the 1967 swift defeat of Egypt, Syria and Jordan by Israel. The audio was played over a picture of the corpse of a baby carried by a young man with other mourners standing around and a picture of al Zawahri.
Al Zawahri spoke in length about the 1967 war, which he referred to as "the setback," a common practice in the Arab world. He slammed Arab leaders and blamed them and secularism for the defeat.
Al Zawahiri also stated that the wealth of Muslim nations was being stolen by the Western countries that supports corrupt Arab governments. "If we don't get rid of them (the crusaders), we might as well starve to death…We shall achieve no independence, nor are we to preserve any wealth, achieve any justice, or political reforms, except by way of Jihad."
Al Qaeda's No. 2 closed his statement by calling on Palestinians not to accept a state within the 1967 borders. "Increase your martyrdom operations, your rocket attacks and your ambushes, for there is no solution other than that," he said.
Al Zawahri's statement carried messages similar to the ones found in al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden's most recent audio tapes, indicating some level of coordination of al Qaeda messages is taking place. Bin Laden had called for an end to the closure of Gaza and urged Egyptians to topple the government of Mubarak in his last two statements issued May 16th and 18th.
This is al Zawahri's sixth statement this year. His last message was an interview-style audio tape released on April 21.
Al Jazeera's Interview With Bali Bomber Posted Online, After Being "Censored" By The Station

(CBS)
Ghufran addressed his nine-minute statement to the "mujaheddin leaders," including al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, the Islamic State of Iraq's leader Abu Omar al Baghdadi as well as "the leaders of jihad in America and Europe." He urged them to fight "American infidels and their allies" and called on militant Islamist groups to unite under the leadership of bin Laden.
The nine-minute interview is entitled "To the Mujaheddin Leaders"
Al-Tawbah forum (Indonesian Jihadi Forum), in cooperation with al-Ekhlaas network, released today a 9:11 video statement entitled: "To the Mujahideen Leaders," by Ali Ghufran, one of three Islamic militants on death row for the 2002 Bali bombings.
"Eevery group of mujahideen, currently fighting against the apostates of America and their criminal allies, should join the ranks of al Qaeda organization, under the leadership of the Sheikh and tutor, Abu Abdullah, Osama bin Laden," stated Ghufran.
There was no indication of the date of the statement. Al Jazeera mentioned interviewing the Bali bombers in January 2008, but never aired their statements.
Post Claims Dissatisfied Hamas' Members Turning to Al Qaeda
A militant Islamist forum member who claimed to be a member of al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the militant Islamist Palestinian group Hamas, asked in a post on Wednesday if al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden would accept him as one of his soldiers.
The writer, who used the name "Truth Seeker," said he was misled by Hamas' leaders who first turned away for Islamist militancy and towards nationalism. "Many of the mujahideen brothers in al Qassam are beginning to see the truth now…your soldiers are so close to setting up the foundations," said the post.

Advice on Forming One-Person Terror Cells Posted Online
"How to Wage Jihad All on Your Own" is the title of a new message posted on the militant Islamist Marek Internet forum that offered a wealth of information, including several manuals, on the formation of single-person and small-sized terror cells. The documents provided instructions on issues like security, communication and weapons and some suggested small operations that it claimed would be executed easily. "Choose as a target to kill the U.S. ambassador," one document said. "For God's sake, would that be too difficult for you??!"
Forum Member Claims 2000 Russian Submarine Explosion Was A Suicide Operation

( )
The writer, who identifies himself as "Abul Aswad al Saffak," claims the explosion of a Russian submarine in August, 2000 was a result of a suicide attack. "The incident of the Russian submarine Kursk that was sunk by the Dagestani suicide bomber is evidence of what I say," he states. The explosion, which called all 118 people aboard, is believed to have been caused by a leak of hydrogen peroxide that led to the detonation of torpedo warheads.
Al Saffak also tells a lengthy story about a man called Thabet al Jeddawi who was believed to have been close to al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. Al Jeddawi was a Saudi militant who was killed in a U.S. airstrike in Afghanistan in December 2001.
Al Saffak claims al Jeddawi fled to Tora Bora with bin Laden ahead of the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan and writes that he once mentioned to Bin Laden that there were indications the U.S. would be using nuclear weapons to hit al Qaeda in Afghanistan. Jeddawi later recounted, according to the post, that bin Laden smiled then said "If they bomb us with nuclear (weapons), we shall bomb them with nuclear (weapons)."
The post writer then insinuates that having access to nuclear weapons doesn't necessarily mean possessing them. "Ask yourselves what would happen if one of those who work in your nuclear plants just blew them up? They could be Muslim converts that you believe are still following your faith," al-Saffak said addressing those who took recent claims about al Qaeda's weapons of mass destruction capabilities lightly.

New Statement By Al Zawahri Expected 'Soon'

(AP)
The banner carried al Zawahri's picture and indicated the statement was being released on the anniversary of the 1967 war, which is referred to as "the setback" on the banner. Arabs often refer to the six-day war which started on June 5th, 1967 as "the setback" because of Israel's swift defeat of Egypt, Syria and Jordan.
In an audiotape that was posted on the Internet on May 18th, al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden had urged Muslims to help end the closure of Gaza by Israel. The fact that the two al Qaeda figures are focusing on same issues may be an indication of some level of coordination of their messages.
Al Qaeda statements are usually released within two days of the announcement. Al Zawahri's last statement was released on April 22 in which he called on Muslims to support the al Qaeda affiliated Islamic State of Iraq.
