First Lady Kucinich?
The very tall and lovely Elizabeth Kucinich talks about her husband's candidacy. The very short and lucky Dennis Kucinich smiles and nods.
Dennis "The World is One" Kucinich talks about peace, justice and compassion at a Lebanese Festival in LA. Ethereal Elizabeth stands by her man.

Clinton: Healthcare Conversation
In a 30-minute webcast, Senator Clinton takes email questions from voters about her new healthcare plan. She emphasizes that "this plan is all about choice . . . it's not government-run, there's no new bureaucracy."
Sound Bite: "I think there are a lot of Republicans who are going to be open to a sensible, workable, practical plan like the one that I've outlined."

Romney Ad: "Change Begins with Us"
Mitt Romney's ads continue to target the party's conservative base. Here the candidate goes through a litany of the bad things that happen when "Republicans act like Democrats,."
Sound Bite: "We can't have ethical standards that are a punchline for Jay Leno."

The New Press Conference
Chris Dodd uses YouTube to plug the bill he cosponsored to restore habeas corpus. Before YouTube, how could a candidate or a politician get such a spiel before the public: a press release? a press conference? a struggle to get on a Sunday-morning show? Now, they can just turn on the camera and send it to YouTube, which may be just about as effective as PR.
By the way, somebody should buy the guy a microphone.

As Tiny Tim would say. . .
Sam Brownback, who hadn't put up a video in a month, floods the zone today with seven videos, each recorded in a nattily casual V-neck. Here, he tries to outdo Mitt Romney defending traditional marriage and families and God.
Sound bite: "Pray for us. We need your prayers, too. God bless you all."
And here -- read his lips -- he vows not to raise taxes and proposes a voluntary flat-tax.

Tag . . . You're It
MoveOn.org went after Rudy Giuliani yesterday.
Rudy responds today with a 30-second radio ad, calling MoveOn "the most powerful left-wing group in the country."
Sound Bite: "They know Rudy is a Republican who can beat the Democrats."

Clinton Ad: Healthcare Plan
Senator Clinton released her healthcare plan yesterday. (More here and here.) She's the candidate most identified with the issue and this time around she's selling it as an "American Health Choices Plan."
Sound Bite: "Now she has a healthcare plan that let's you keep your coverage if you like it, provides affordable choices if you don't and covers every American."

Rudy 'Round The Bend
I do believe that John McCain was the first candidate with video from Nascar. But now here's Rudy on the racetrack.
It's an odd video: Rudy's man, wearing the silly Dupont racing outfit (while Rudy's in an also-inappropriate blazer), keeps coming on camera telling us what Rudy's doing now. He interviews the guy who interviews Rudy. He interviews the guy who arranges the interviews. What's strange is that Rudy's man never interviews Rudy on Rudy's video. You'd think he could have pulled a few connections.
Sound bite: "I'm not used to seeing things go that fast."

Inhospitable Mitt
Mitt Romney calls for closing the borders -- well, closing them for one man: the president of Iran.
Obama's Fired Up
In Davenport, Iowa a bubbly Barack Obama and his stoked supporters are "fired up" and ready to "change the world." But first they have to go and eat some burned meat at the Harkin Steak Fry.
