(CNET) At first glance, a digital guitar with the brains of a super-powered smartphone and illuminated fretboard seems like a product that could change everything about guitar instrumentation. The digital dynamo by Incident Technologies aims to work as "the first guitar that anybody can play," as noted in description of the gTar on Kickstarter.
To start, one merely needs to plug an iPhone 4/4S in to the digital guitar. After selecting a song in the gTar app, illuminated frets await your fingertips to help you start playing along.

New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg was honored with a Webby Award for Lifetime Achievement for his work with the Bloomberg media corporation.
The award was presented by Tumblr founder and chief executive officer David Karp, who reminded the audience that if it wasn't for Bloomberg's contribution to financial technology, we wouldn't have found out the cost of Facebook stock shares until Monday. Karp was referring to the social network's high-profile initial public offering (IPO) last Friday.

(CNET) How much online video did you watch last month?
Across the U.S., 181 million Internet users tracked by ComScore caught a total of 37 billion videos in April. That means 84.5 percent of the U.S. Internet audience viewed an online video, and the average person spent 21.8 hours doing so for the month.
