(CBS) - By basically any metric, Drew Brees is the greatest New Orleans Saint in the team's history. He is one of the most accurate quarterbacks to ever play the game, broke the single season passing yards record last season, and led New Orleans to the franchise's only Super Bowl victory. So it's not surprising that Brees wants his new contract to reflect his worth to the organization. Previous reports said that Brees and the Saints were "roughly $5 million a year apart" in sealing the deal. But instead of ironing out the details, on Monday the Saints used their franchise tag on Brees, a move that left the quarterback "livid."

His Twitter feed is followed by over three million people, and he's not afraid to say exactly what's on his mind. Even his problems are larger than life. Take the case this weekend, when Ochocinco tweeted that he was urinated on by a lion.

(CBS) - Star athletes get paid like stars. That was just as true 100 years ago as it is today. Sure the numbers may have gone up (Ty Cobb was making $85,000 in 1927, for example) but there has always been a gap between what the superstars are making compared to the average players. A recent analysis from 24/7 Wall St. is aimed at figuring out the highest paid athletes of all time. Their top ten list has some familiar names (Michael Jordan and Alex Rodriguez are up there) and some very surprising ones. Who did they determine the top-paid player of all time to be?

(CBS) - Not everyone is a fan of Tim Tebow. He's a polarizing figure, with football fans and even some players questioning whether the unconventional quarterback really has what it takes to make it in the NFL. One place you wouldn't expect to find criticism is the Denver Broncos bench. But in an article about Tim Tebow's year in GQ Magazine, Broncos teammate and fellow quarterback Brady Quinn dismissed Tebow's performance. Quinn basically sums up his interpretation of Tebow and the Broncos' season with, "We've had a lot of, I guess, luck."
