(CBS/AP) Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson are among the first performers announced for this year's Country Music Association Awards.

The two stars, who teamed to win a trophy last year at the ceremony, will be joined by Dierks Bentley and Little Big Town on the broadcast.

(CBS News) Put aliens and a "normal" family together and what do you get? "The Neighbors," ABC's new sitcom, which debuted Wednesday night.

Except the sci-fi comedy series isn't very funny, or for that matter, very entertaining -- unless bizarre, silly aliens are your thing. And even then, it will be interesting to see how the show can hold up over an entire season.

(CBS/AP) Honey Boo Boo will be taking over TV screens for the holidays.

The TLC network said Wednesday that it has ordered Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas specials focusing on its seven-year-old breakout star, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson. The series airs the 10th and final episode of its debut season on Wednesday.

(CBS News) Utter the name Andy Williams, and prime-time Christmas specials and the song, "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year," come to mind.

The crooner, who died Tuesday at age 84, made a career on the small screen where he combined his love of music and entertaining in the form of a weekly variety show, which led to hugely successful holiday TV specials.

The show,  based on a true story, follows cowboy-turned sheriff Ralph Lamb (Quaid) as he goes head to head with fictional Chicago mobster Vincent Savino (Chiklis).

Singer Andy Williams dead at 84

(CBS News) Singer Andy Williams died at his home in Branson, Mo., on Tuesday after a year-long battle with bladder cancer, according to his publicist Paul Shefrin. He was 84.

"The Voice": Auditions continue with new battles

(CBS News) Teams continued to take shape Tuesday night on NBC's "The Voice," as only a few slots remain.

The latest episode of the singing competition featured an array of music and even a battle between coaches Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine. And for anyone worried about the future of "The Voice," you can rest easy; NBC just ordered two more seasons of the series for spring and fall 2013.
