Disney Channel Cancels Jonas Brothers Sitcom

NEW YORK (CBS) The Disney Channel says it's pulling the plug on the Jonas Brothers' sitcom, "Jonas L.A."

A spokesperson for the network confirmed to Entertainment Weekly Tuesday that they will not renew the Emmy-nominated series.

NEW YORK (CBS) For country music superstar Taylor Swift, the biggest accessory for the 44th Annual Country Music Awards this Wednesday night will her heart on her sleeve.

In true country music fashion, there will be storytelling about heartache, moving on and reaching milestones.

Swift will be singing "Back to December," which is reportedly about her ex-boyfriend, 18-year-old "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner. The performance is supposed to be very intimate and emotional with just her sitting at the piano with strings playing, according to US Magazine.

A source also told US that "It'll definitely be a 'moment' in the show."

Shannen Doherty's Father Dies

LOS ANGELES (CBS/AP) Thomas Doherty, who sat in the "Dancing with the Stars" audience last season to watch his daughter, actress Shannen Doherty, compete, had died after battling a series of health issues.

Shannen Doherty was eliminated from "Dancing'" in March after just one week of competition. But she said after her elimination she considered her stint on the show a success because her father, who had suffered a stroke, was in the audience watching her perform.

Holmes, a man believed to have murdered anywhere between 27 and 200 people, in the film adaptation of Erik Larson's best-selling book, "The Devil in the White City," according to the Hollywood Reporter.

In it, Cole describes how her sister, one of her most ardent supporters, fell ill just as she was getting her transplant, leaving her with a choice between saving her own life or spending a last few days with her dying sister.

After conducting an online poll, in which  he admittedly tallied and manipulated the results, he says it's down to Jack Nicholson, the Sultan of Brunei, and Arlene Wagner, a curator of  the Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum.
