NEW YORK (CBS) Connie Hamzy, the self-proclaimed number one groupie in America, reportedly has gotten up close and personal with some of Rock's biggest stars -- and she's telling Howard Stern all the juicy details.

Also known as "Sweet Connie," Hamzy was reportedly mentioned in a Grand Funk Railroad song, 'We're An American Band,"  and was a part of the mayhem that surrounded some of rock's greatest legends.

Aretha Franklin Has Pancreatic Cancer, Reports Say

NEW YORK (CBS/AP) Aretha Franklin has been quiet about the nature of the illness that prompted her to cancel all upcoming events and undergo surgery last week, but reports are now speculating that the Queen of Soul is suffering from pancreatic cancer.

A source familiar with the situation told The Detroit News about Franklin's condition on Wednesday.

John Lennon Photos Go On Sale for Charity

NEW YORK (CBS) A photographer has donated pictures taken of John Lennon to raise money for the prevention of gun violence.

Some of the 75 photographs taken by Ethan Russell have never been available for purchase. Seventy-five percent of the proceeds from the signed, limited-edition images will benefit Pax, a nonprofit that works to end gun violence.

NEW YORK (CBS) Donna D'Errico, a former "Baywatch" actress and Playboy playmate may be traveling by land or sea -- after she was allegedly forced to undergo a full body scan by TSA agents at Los Angeles International Airport because she's attractive.

"It is my personal belief that they pulled me aside because they thought I was attractive," D'Errico told AOL News Monday. "My boyfriend looks much more like a terrorist than either I or my son do, and he went through security with no problems."

NEW YORK (CBS) John Lennon's killer, Mark David Chapman, is still serving time in a New York prison, 30 years after the former Beatle's death.

He has been imprisoned at the Attica Correctional Facility in Attaca, N.Y., since 1981. Since then, he has been denied parole six times.
