(CBS News) The new season of "NCIS: Los Angeles" begins Tuesday, and Chris O'Donnell says things pick up right where they left off - with his character being arrested.

"Callen has just shot somebody point blank and is being hauled off in a police car," he told CBSNews.com. "So he's in a little bit of hot water, but we shall see. I'm sure Hetty will find a way to get him out of this mess."

(CBS/AP) EL PASO, Texas - A probate judge in West Texas has ordered DNA testing on a man who claims to be the brother of actor Sherman Hemsley.

Judge Patricia Chew on Monday delayed the El Paso trial on the estate of the star of "The Jeffersons" TV show.

(CBS News) Olympian Kerri Walsh Jennings is pregnant for a third time.

The 34-year-old beach volleyball player revealed Monday on NBC's "Today" that she and her husband Casey Jennings are expecting a baby in April, which means she was pregnant while competing at the Summer Games.

(CBS News) It was a party time in Los Angeles Sunday night after the curtain went down on the 64th annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony.

The Governor's Ball, the official afterparty of the Emmys drew almost 4,000 guests to the West Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center, which was transformed into a rose-themed haven for the ceremony's "rhapsody in red" dinner party.

(CBS/AP) Jimmy Kimmel took the Emmy stage for the first time as host on Sunday night with a mix of jokes, sketches, and even a prank.

The show started with bathroom humor: A filmed bit with Kathy Bates, Zooey Deschanel and other nominated actresses prepping in the restroom, then discovering a weeping Jimmy Kimmel lamenting a Botox reaction he said would keep him off stage as host.

(CBS News) Jimmy Kimmel promised a prank at Sunday's Emmy Awards and he followed through on his commitment.

Mid-way through the show, the first-time host asked viewers tuning into the ceremony to get in on the joke by pulling a prank on non-viewers in an effort to see how quickly the rumor would spread and attract additional viewers.

(CBS/AP) Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong is headed to treatment for substance abuse.

Sunday's announcement by the band's rep comes after the 40-year-old frontman had a meltdown onstage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Friday. As Green Day was wrapping up its performance during the all-star, two-day concert, Armstrong profanely complained that the band's time was being cut short.
