Eric Clapton to Sell Off Guitars for Rehab Clinic

More than 70 guitars from the rock star's personal collection will be up for auction in New York on March 9, 2011.

A source familiar with the situation told The Detroit News about Franklin's condition on Wednesday.

Some of the 75 photographs taken by Ethan Russell have never been available for purchase. Seventy-five percent of the proceeds from the signed, limited-edition images will benefit Pax, a nonprofit that works to end gun violence.

He has been imprisoned at the Attica Correctional Facility in Attaca, N.Y., since 1981. Since then, he has been denied parole six times.

The Jewish a cappella group from Yeshiva University unveiled a remake of Taio Cruz's song "Dynamite." Their version, to reflect the holiday, is called "Candlelight," and references Hanukkah traditions like making latkes and spinning dreidels.

Tickets for a number of the singer's performances went on sale Friday.
Fans can now purchase tickets for Swift's shows in Foxborough, Mass., Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Jose and Sacramento. Those in Canada can also purchase tickets for her two nights in Toronto.
The shows currently on sale take place between June 25 and Sept. 3. Swift's website lists the full dates for her upcoming tour.
