Isley died Sunday morning at an inpatient hospice at Weiss Memorial Hospital, according to hospital spokeswoman Catherine Gianaro. She could not confirm a cause of death.

NEW YORK (CBS) Rock musician John Mayer has been forced to cancel the rest of his European tour dates after coming down with an undisclosed illness.
The 32-year-old "Battle Studies" rocker had to cancel a concert last night in Copenhagen and will be coming back to the United States to recover.

NEW YORK (CBS) Country music icon Willie Nelson has a new do! After sporting his trademark long tresses for more than a quarter of a century, the 77-year-old "On The Road Again" singer is embracing a remarkably shorter new look.
The "waist-deep, reddish pigtails" that the Associated Press described as one of the singer-songwriter's "signature features" have, indeed, been snipped.

"Up To the Mountain," the song Crystal Bowersox chose to perform in Tuesday's "American Idol" finale, is rich in history.
A folk song with spiritual overtones, it was written by Patty Griffin and draws on the emotions of Martin Luther King Jr.'s historic 1968 speech "I've Been to the Mountaintop." The civil rights leader delivered that speech in Memphis, Tenn., just the day before his assassination.
