Miss Universe rule allows transgender women

Pageant officials said they are working on the language of the official rule policy change but expected final word to come soon. The rules will have to be approved by Donald Trump, who runs the Miss Universe Organization, and NBC. Trump and NBC co-own the contest.

Dior picks Raf Simons to succeed John Galliano

/ AP(CBS/AP) PARIS - Christian Dior has chosen a new artistic director to succeed John Galliano.
The French fashion house says Belgian designer Raf Simons will present his first show in Paris in July.
"The first time I heard about the Dior position, I thought, 'This feels right,'" Simons told The New York Times.
The appointment comes seven months after star designer Galliano was convicted by a Paris court for making anti-Semitic insults. The job of artistic director has been open since then.
Simons, who previously designed for the Jil Sander fashion house, was considered a top candidate for the job.
A statement by Dior on Monday said Simons "will inspire and propel into the 21st century" the style of the prestigious house.

/ AFP/Getty Images(CBS/AP) A Christian Dior retrospective that traces the design house's close links with the fashions of the cinema is set to take place next month.
The exhibit, "Stars in Dior," will feature a rare collection of some 50 Dior gowns, worn by actresses including Grace Kelly, Olivia de Havilland and Elizabeth Taylor, both on and off the screen over six decades.
