Nevada adopted a recall law in 1912. To hold a recall election, the petitioner must have signatures totaling 25 percent of the votes cast for that position in the last election. The petition may not circulate for longer than 60 days. Voters are asked one question, choosing from a list of candidates that may include the individual being recalled.
