Actress Vernee Watson Johnson, who has appeared as a regular on "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" and "Welcome Back Kotter," testified that she taught the accuser during an acting session at the LA Academy of Fine Arts. She was later told he had cancer and that the mother requested she visit him in the hospital, which she did on several occasions.

Johnson said she helped arrange the accuser's first visit to Neverland. She said the family also visited her house, but the boys were "very unruly" and "all into my stuff."

She said she gave the accuser's mother money, and once, while on the telephone with the brother, heard the mother in the background saying, "Tell her you lover her [boy's name], tell her you love her."

She told the court she was also asked to help raise money for the accuser. She said she abandoned that effort, however, after the mother refused to set up a special bank account for donations - seeking instead to have the money put directly into her account.

The prosecution chose not to cross-examine Johnson.
