Dyslexia is a neurological learning disability that impairs a person's ability to read. These individuals typically read at levels significantly lower than expected, and have difficulty with spelling, even though they have normal intelligence.

People with dyslexia may experience difficulties in other language skills such as spelling, writing and speaking. They have also been found to have problems linking words with distinct sounds, expressing themselves clearly, or understanding what others mean when they speak.

Other problems experienced by dyslexics include: memorizing number facts, learning a foreign language and correctly doing math operations.
