Spc. Azhar Ali, 27, of New York City and another soldier were killed March 2, 2005, in Baghdad, Iraq, when an explosive detonated near their military vehicle.
Ali was with the National Guard, assigned to the 1st Battalion, 69th Regiment, out of New York, N.Y.
