Pvt. Christopher M. Alcozer, 21, of DeKalb, Ill., died Nov. 19, 2005, in Mosul, Iraq, when his unit was hit by small-arms fire and grenades.
He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment, 172nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, based at Fort Wainwright, Ala.
