CAREER:Deal entered the Air Force after completing the ROTC program in 1976. As commander of what is geographically and organizationally the Air Force’s largest wing, he oversees a force that provides missile warning and space control for combat forces and the governments of the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Prior to this post, he commanded the Air Force Recruiting Service at Randolph Air Force Base, Texas. He has logged more than 2,200 flying hours.
OTHER: Has commanded three maintenance squadrons, one of which won "Best in the Air Force" honors.
