In the first study of its kind, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention finds that at
least one in four teenage American girls has a sexually transmitted disease. Among those who admitted to having sex, about 40 percent have an STD. The CDC tested
teens for four infections: chlamydia, trichomoniasis, herpes simplex, and HPV.
