Lance Cpl. Michael J. Halal, 22, of Glendale, Ariz., died Sept. 13, 2004, in a non-combat-related vehicle accident in the Anbar province of Iraq.
He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, based at Camp Lejeune, N.C.
