During the transit strike no cars will beallowed into Manhattan South of 96th Street without at least fourpeople in the vehicle between the hours of 5 a.m. and 11 a.m. Monday through Friday. Police have set up barricades on the highways,bridges and tunnels. Vehicles without four people are being turnedaround.
That means vehicles entering the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel, Henry Hudson Bridge, Queensboro Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, Williamsburg Bridge, Lincoln Tunnel, Holland Tunnel and theQueens-Midtown Tunnel will need four people. Police are thereturning cars back if they don't comply.
