The Chevrolet Corvette is one of Americas most venerable car brands. Introduced in 1953 as a limited edition convertible, the Corvette has undergone many changes in its 50-plus years on the road. The very first Corvette, seen here, was a convertible that came only in polo white. Just three hundred Corvettes were built in its first year.
