The topic of President Obama's birthplace has been a contentious and long-running story. Most recently the state of Georgia joined with Texas and nine other states to propose legislation that questions Obama's birthplace.
At some point, you might have seen this photo which claims to show a sign in Kenya which states "the birthplace of Barack Obama."
