Times Square Shooting
A roped off area surrounding the Marriot Marquis Hotel in Times Square is guarded by police where a shooting took place on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, in New York. An undercover cop chased a Times Square scam artist through sidewalks crowded with holiday shoppers and tourists Thursday, exchanged gunfire with the suspect and killed him near a landmark hotel, police said.
