Shauna Sand, seen here with rocker Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction, became a Playboy playmate after submitting photos to Playboy's Los Angeles photo editors, according to her bio on Playboy.com. After test shooting with founder Hugh Hefner, Sand became the May 1996 "Playmate of the Month".
