Ex-Playmate charged in immigrant smuggling case

Colleen Shannon, a 2004 Playboy Playmate, was arrested August 16, 2012 in Plattsburgh, N.Y. after officials say she illegally smuggled her boyfriend, Robert Skojo, across the Canadian border into the United States. Skojo reportedly has a criminal record in Canada and was not authorized to enter the country. On January 15, 2012 a judge granted Shannon's request to hire a new lawyer to defend her against the smuggling charges. A new start date for the trial has not been set.
