Florida teen fatally shot on school bus
Police said 13-year-old Lourdes Guzman was shot on Nov. 20, 2012, while riding a Florida school bus with her 7-year-old sister. A 15-year-old boy was charged with manslaughter a day later. Police say the boy allegedly took a gun out of a backpack and showed it to other students on the bus. Investigators said he fired it once in an apparent accident, striking Lourdes, who later died at a Miami hospital. Eight other children, including Lourdes sister, were on the bus but were not harmed.
