Mark Strong Sr., a 57-year-old insurance agent accused of helping fitness instructor Alexis Wright use her Maine studio as a front for prostitution, was convicted on 13 counts of promotion of prostitution on March 6, 2013. He was sentenced to serve 20 days in jail on March 21, 2013. Prosecutors said he was a business partner who controlled, supervised and managed the prostitution business that operated out of a Zumba studio. Strong acknowledged having an affair with Wright and helping her open the studio but contends he didn't profit from her activities. His attorneys said he was a smitten lover who wanted to help the single mother.
