St. John Sheriff Mike Tregre talks to reporters after two deputies were killed and two wounded in two early morning shootings in St. John the Baptist Parish, west of New Orleans, on Aug. 16, 2012. The first shooting occurred around in a parking lot used by workers in an area of manufacturing plants and refineries along the Mississippi River.
