NJ mom accused of putting 6-year-old in tanning booth
New Jersey mother Patricia Krentcil (left) appeared in Superior Court in Newark, N.J. on May 2, 2012 and pleaded not guilty to a child endangerment charge after allegedly allowing her 6-year-old daughter to tan at a salon, causing burns. The mother of five has previously admitted to bringing Anna into the salon but said she's never allowed the fair-skinned girl into the tanning bed. She claims her daughter got sunburned by being outside on a recent warm day. In Feb. 2013 it was reported that Krentcil was looking to move to London to escape ridicule in New Jersey.
