Titus Young, a former Detroit Lions wide receiver, was arrested for the third time in a week on Friday, May 10, 2013, according to police. Lt. Joe Balicki, spokesperson for the Orange County Sheriff's department, said the 23-year-old Young was arrested May 10 in San Clemente, Calif. after running from police and putting up a fight when they tried to detain him. Young was charged with attempted burglary, assault of a police officer and resisting arrest. Young was also arrested... twice... on the previous Sunday. The first arrest on Sunday, May 5, 2013 was for suspicious of drunken driving. The second arrest, which happened later that day, occurred after he allegedly tried to remove his vehicle from a tow yard. Young was drafted by the Lions in 2011 but was released from the team in February 2013 for insubordinate behavior and fighting with his teammates.
