Rodney Alcala, now 66, was tried, convicted, and sentenced to death three times for killing 12-year-old Robin Samsoe on June 20, 1979. Witnesses testified that Samsoe was riding her bike to ballet practice in Huntington Beach, Calif., when Alcala asked her to pose for photographs. Then he kidnapped her and later killed her. Now, Orange County prosecutor Matt Murphy says he can't help but wonder if the people in the photographs are still alive. All of the photos were taken before 1979.
