Colorado Middle School Shooting
On Feb. 23, 2010, authorities say suspect Bruco Strongeagle Eastwood walked through a middle school parking lot in Littleton, Colo., taking shots at students with a hunting rifle as terrified teenagers ran for their lives. Two Deer Creek Middle School students, Matt Thieu, left, and Reagan Webber, were wounded. A math teacher tackled Eastwood and pinned him to the ground, stopping what could have been a much more violent encounter in an area all too familiar with tragic school shootings.
