When Fans Attack
William R. Ligue Jr. and his 15-year-old son jumped from the stands at Comiskey Park in Chicago to attack Kansas City Royals first base coach Tom Gamboa, whose hand is seen at lower right, Sept. 19, 2002. The Royals dugout cleared, with several players jumping on the fans, who were escorted off the field in handcuffs. Gamboa was cut, but walked off the field under his own power.
